Testimonials

Hayley is a fantastic ambassador for yoga! She worked with our students from September through to Christmas in PE lessons and after school clubs. The students commented on how welcoming Hayley was and how she always led at the students’ pace rather than making them feel uncomfortable or like they ‘had’ to participate. My favourite comment from a Year 12 boy was ‘That was alright. Yoga isn’t as bad as I thought it would be’. This change in mindset is down to Hayley and how she goes about her sessions. Thank you Hayley for working with our students. – Liam Cobley – Head of Physical Education The Skinners Academy

Hayley delivered yoga sessions to each class within our school across a whole day. First and foremost, Hayley’s sessions were FUN! She was incredibly adaptable and ensured all the children’s needs were considered and catered for. Each class reported back how fantastic Hayley was, the children were calm, engaged and took techniques away with them to use independently as did the class teachers! She was incredibly calm, well prepared and offered a style of yoga teaching I’ve not seen before but was absolutely perfect for our children from the littlest to the biggest ones! I highly recommend Hayley! – Plaxtol Primary

Hayley provided yoga sessions to classes of children at Hawkhurst CE Primary School. They were brilliantly planned and organised and took into account the age and skill level of the children. The sessions were extremely calm and well run and the feedback from the children was excellent. They felt they had really benefited from the session and reported that it had given them time to stop, to reflect and to focus on their body and breathing. We will definitely be asking Hayley to come back and run more sessions in school as we feel this could have a really positive impact on the wellbeing of some of our children. –  Hawkhurst Primary

Hayley was our first experience of having Yoga at School and it has been brilliant. Hayley is always enthusiastic and adaptable, as it is not always easy with lots of small children. The children love the fun poses and we have noticed that they are calmer and more focused after a session of Yoga with Hayley. Three benefits that our pupils have experienced since working with Hayley?  Calmness, enjoyment and hopefully able to sit a little longer…. It’s hard when you are three years old! The staff love the sessions Hayley provides for the children, I am sure that a few have transferred their skills into the classroom, such as being still, breathing and focusing.  I would recommend Hayley to other educational settings, not only does Hayley provide a fun and varied Yoga lesson that is different each week, she incorporates fun seasonal sessions, such as Christmas yoga which always goes down well with the children. She also runs whole School events, catering all 250 of our children. Nothing daunts Hayley and she is always professional, regardless of the challenge in front of her. Hayley is always very supportive of the School, advocating us on her social media channels and engaging with parents throughout their School journey, with lovely comments on our Facebook posts. – Philippa McCarmick, Head of Pre-Prep, Sutton Valance Preparatory School

Namaste Kids Yoga is the only weekly yoga service we have used to help support our pupil’s wellbeing. The children who have taken part in the yoga club have really enjoyed it. They love bringing different exercises back to the classroom to share with the other children. The benefits to having yoga in St Ronan’s Pre-prep are that the children have learnt how to do an exercise they enjoy, they work together as a team with children who may not be their close friends and having lots of fun! The teachers have been able to use the breathing techniques and they sometimes use a few of the stretching techniques for movement breaks.  I would recommend Hayley as a yoga instructor at your school as she is professional, always prepared and on time and she ensures the children have a wonderful time while learning different exercises. – Andrea Bright, Head of Pre-Prep, Saint Ronan’s School.

Hayley came to the school as part of our Well Being Warrior programme to help develop growth mind set and wellbeing. All of our children loved the yoga session. Every child was engaged; they loved learning all the poses and the importance of breathing techniques. We found the session extremely beneficial for all the children that took part and many would love to do yoga sessions after school. After the success of that first class, we are looking to incorporate a session for each year group to help them understand the importance of wellbeing. Throughout the afternoon we found Hayley to be patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. She was able to engage children that previously would not have shown any interest in taking part. Thank you Hayley! – Northiam Primary School

It has been a real pleasure having Hayley with us since we reopened in June. The pupils have really benefited from time to develop their yoga practice and it has really supported their wellbeing after a difficult few months. We can’t wait to have Hayley back with us next year. –Mrs Terri Daters, Headteacher, Shipborne Primary School.

The children at Benenden Pre-School have been enjoying their Yoga sessions brought to them by Hayley Sanderson of Namaste Kids. Hayley interacted well with the children using age-appropriate material remembering all their names, and constructing her sessions around fantastic stories that interest children. Hayley also introduced activities that would challenge the children more, such as I’m a little tea pot, and if they struggled she would find a way to support them, thus helping with children’s confidence in a new activity. The children benefit in their physical development from Hayley’s yoga sessions by trying out different movements, and in terms of communication by listening to and following instructions. – Lucy Oakley, Supervisor Benenden Preschool.

Hayley used inventive ways to incorporate a range of yoga poses these included energetic, vibrant songs which the children could join in with. She was also able to link the sessions with our school’s Christian values and found hooks that engaged the children. Each session ended with relaxation which included the children using mats, an eye mask and blankets. – Southborough Primary School

Thank you so much for delivering your Yoga Workshops to our school. The children had a great time. Your sessions were very creative and engaging for all. – Stocks Green Primary School

The children really benefited from this time of calm and relaxation. They enjoyed coming to the sessions and looked forward to them every week. As a result of these sessions, children have taken a greater interest in yoga and enjoy practising the techniques they’ve learnt. – Cranbrook Primary School

Hayley from Namaste Kids Yoga visited our school and taught all year groups over 2 days, the children really enjoyed it. The class teachers fed back how creative Hayley was, how the children were fully engaged, even the ones they had not expected to be! The children really enjoyed the time to be calm and how fun this was to do. Many children asked where they could do yoga out of school. – Kennington Primary School
