TOTS is designed for nursery & preschools settings. The class is a mixture of songs, dances, stories & fun. Introductions to meditation, mindfulness & breathing techniques that can be used to help learn self-regulation/ self-soothing & relaxation. We recommend a maximum of 30 minutes.
KIDS classes designed for Primary schools. Classes begin with breathing techniques and mini mediation then a short warm up before moving onto physical poses (using age appropriate stories, rhymes, songs and sometimes music), normally we play a yoga game before winding down and ending the class with relaxation.
TEEN classes designed for Secondary schools. Classes are taught in a more adult style but with music. Once I have worked with the young people and build a relationship games & partner yoga will be introduced. Themes such as strength, balance, resilience, compassion & gratitude will be taught & discussed. Classes will be taught tools to manage stress & anxiety to help them negotiate life’s challenges a little easier.
